About Manna Bible Institute

Manna's School Verse

"Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart; for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts."

Jeremiah 15:16

Manna Bible Institute stands on the full authority of the Bible as God’s Holy Word.  We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God; that these Holy Scriptures are verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings; and that they are the final and supreme authority in faith and life.
The Bible alone forms the basis of the school’s Statement of Faith.

Manna's Statement
of Faith

WE BELIEVE that salvation is by grace through faith, and all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again into the family of God, quickened by the Holy Spirit, and given a new life from God and are thus eternally secure in Him.

WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead on the third day; that He ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty, as our High Priest and Advocate.

WE BELIEVE in the personal, bodily, and premillennial return of our Lord Jesus to establish His kingdom on earth.

WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the dead, both lost and saved; the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.

WE BELIEVE that all believers are vitally united to the Body of Christ, His Church; and that it is the supreme responsibility of its members to bear witness to the saving grace and power of the Lord Jesus Christ and to make His gospel known to all men.

WE BELIEVE that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God; that these Holy Scriptures are verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writings; and that they are the final and supreme authority in faith and life.

WE BELIEVE in one God existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in nature, power, and glory.  We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit, a Divine Person distinct from the Father and Son.

WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the eternally begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; that He is true God and true man, the only Mediator between God and man.

WE BELIEVE that man was originally created in the image of God, but that through sin he brought upon himself and his posterity not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; that all human beings by physical birth possess a sinful nature and are, therefore, sinners in thought, word, and deed; that in order to be restored to fellowship with God they must be born again of the spirit of God.

WE BELIEVE that “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures”; that His death was a substitutionary atonement for our sins; and that all who believe in Him are accounted righteous before God, justified and given the title to eternal life, solely through the merit of Christ on the ground of His shed blood.

MBI Mission Statement

The School Hymn

The Bible Stands

Verse 1:

The Bible stands like a rock undaunted
Mid the raging storms of time;
Its pages burn with the truth eternal,
And they glow with a light sublime.

Chorus:

The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,
It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;
I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,
For the Bible stands.

Verse 2:

The Bible stands like a mountain towering
Far above the works of men;
Its truth by none ever was refuted,
And destroy it they never can.

Verse 3:

The Bible stands and it will forever,
When the world has passed away;
By inspiration it has been given,
All its precepts I will obey.

Verse 4:

The Bible stands every test we give it,
For its Author is divine;
By grace alone I expect to live it,
And to prove and make it mine.
